As we enter our third year of programming, we are deeply grateful to be building a warm and enthusiastic community of fellow Japanese arts lovers.

In celebration of receiving status as a registered charity, we invite you to join us for a special summer rooftop patio party and online fundraising auction that will help support our programs throughout the year. This joyful afternoon of live music, delicious food, and in-person viewing of auction items is a wonderful opportunity for getting to know each other more casually while helping to support on-going operations.

Tickets for the in-person fundraiser event include:

  • Live musical entertainment from the incomparable BUSHIDO duo featuring Alcvin Ryūzen Ramos and Nori Akagi

  • Delicious bento lunch from Eat Bar & Patio Haraheri (vegan option available)

  • A choice of (1) beverage from a custom menu offering both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, including a Summer Sake Punch offered just for this event.

  • The chance to view auction items up close and place your online bids with our team on hand to assist. Winning bidders will be able to take their items home at the end of the event!

All funds raised from this campaign will go toward our annual operational costs. While some of our programming is supported by grant funds and participant fees, there are many additional behind-the-scenes costs involved in bringing these programs to you. If you have enjoyed our programs over the last few years, we hope you will join us. Let us know what you have enjoyed, and what you hope to see from us in the future.

So pull out your yukata, bring a fan, and we look forward to an afternoon of getting to know you better!
